Shortcoming:

Before the popularity of PC materials, glass lampshade was the most commonly used lampshade material by manufacturers, mainly because of its good light transmittance and low cost. Of course, it was also limited to factors such as regulations and material technology level at that time.

Good transparency, high temperature without gas, no yellowing, weather resistance, and high light transmittance.

 

Shortcoming;

Easy to break, which is also the main drawback of glass headlights.

 

The main problem with PC materials is that they are prone to yellowing. This is because when new cars leave the factory, they coat the headlights with a layer of ultraviolet protective film. When the protective film is consumed by wind and sun, the PC will begin to age. However, if the protective film is regularly maintained and replaced according to the manufacturer‘s requirements, this disadvantage can actually be avoided.
