"Mandatory use of recycled materials" will become a global consensus to combat plastic pollution, but the plastic recycling industry has not yet prepared the basic system, especially the serious lack of key standards. In order to accelerate the construction of basic standards for the use of recycled materials, recently, the Plastic Recycling Branch of China Synthetic Resin Association (CPRRA) launched the "Determination of Intermediate Phthalic Acid Content of Post-Consumer Recycling (PCR) Reused Polyester (PET) (Gas Chromatography Method)", "Determination of Intermediate Phthalic Acid Content of Post-Consumer Recycling (PCR) Reused Polyester (PET) (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Method)", "Traceability Evaluation Requirements for Post-Consumer Recycled Plastics (PCR)", " There are five basic standards: marine plastic recycling traceability evaluation requirements and "green intelligent waste plastic packaging station construction requirements". With the improvement of environmental protection awareness and the embodiment of the economic benefits of the waste plastic recycling industry, the recycled PET recycling industry has been greatly developed, and recycled PET is widely used in downstream production, on the one hand, it can reduce the pollution of waste to the environment, on the other hand, it can be recycled and save resources. In order to make transparent PET bottles, crystallization must be avoided, and the addition of isophthalic acid can destroy the regularity of the molecular chain, hinder the movement of the molecular chain, and reduce the crystallization ability of macromolecules. Therefore, detecting isophthalic acid in polyester can determine whether the polyester comes from recycled PET bottles. At present, the detection of whether polyester comes from recycled PET bottles is still in the blank stage, and the current few testing methods are cumbersome and complicated, which is not conducive to routine testing and promotion. In view of the problems described, the development and publication of relevant standards is particularly important. As one of the main participating units, Topcentral® promoted the drafting of relevant standards.

The output of green high-quality functional materials is 37,500 tons, and the carbon emission reduction compared with primary materials is 106,000 tons.
