In his address, Xia Zuyi, the Secretary-General of the China Environmental Science Society, pointed out that from the recent development trends in China, the green transformation is reshaping traditional production functions characterized by low-cost advantages, promoting the high-end, intelligent, and green development of industries, and creating many new growth points. Simultaneously, the enormous demand for the green upgrade and transformation of traditional industries, along with the demand for green consumption, is giving rise to the world’s largest green market. This demonstrates that the green environmental protection industry is playing a significant role in nurturing new technologies, generating new business models, creating new supplies, and generating new demands. It provides a powerful impetus for high-quality development through robust green development dynamics.

 

The forum announced the selection results of the "Smart for Green" digital carbon-neutral technology solutions and typical cases. After expert review, Topcentral® "Digitized Intelligent Recycling and High-Value Utilization to Facilitate Closed-Loop Applications of Discarded Home Appliances" was selected as one of the first batch of cases. Aligned with the theme of digitization, intelligence, empowerment, and greenization, Topcentral® is dedicated to enhancing the entire chain’s capability for digitized and intelligent empowerment towards greenization. Through innovative digital carbon-neutral technologies, Topcentral® aims to contribute to sustainable development.

Topcentral® firmly believes that only by continuously strengthening the environmental awareness and actions of enterprises can positive contributions be made to the global environment. Therefore, we focus extensively on the low-carbon sector, utilizing technological innovation to create "zero" carbon products and achieve energy-saving and emission reduction goals. Prior to this, the "Topcentral® Green and Low-Carbon Functional Material Innovation and Demonstration Promotion" project was successfully selected as the Green Lens Annual Green Case, highlighting its outstanding achievements in industrial chain integration, technological innovation, and business model innovation. The project provides users with a systematic solution for green and low-carbon recycled materials, achieving the perfect substitution of rPC and rABS materials for native new materials and realizing high-value applications. Simultaneously, the project successfully achieved carbon neutrality for 1,414 tons of greenhouse gas emissions in its 2021 production and operational activities, and in 2022, it achieved product carbon neutrality, with actual carbon offset reaching 2,489 tons.

 

Leveraging its robust R&D capabilities, Topcentral® has successfully developed materials such as rPC, rABS, rPET, and rPA. The cumulative recycling and reuse of discarded plastics using these materials have reached 20,000 tons, generating significant carbon emission reduction benefits for society. This achievement not only promotes more social responsibility and public welfare practices but also showcases Topcentral’s outstanding contributions and unwavering efforts in the environmental protection domain. Through these honors and recognitions, Topcentral® has achieved sustained development in low-carbon technology, providing active support to the ecological environment through "zero" carbon technology.
